A Truro Romance For Steamer Trading Cookshop

New Cookshop coming to Truro this July…

Saturday July 9th heralds an exciting new venture for Steamer Trading Cookshop in Cornwall – not only is the new Truro store to be their first in Cornwall, but it also marks the start of a delicious new relationship with the world famous, Divertimenti Cookery School which will open, upstairs, later in store during the summer, their first ever undertaking outside of London.

Steamer Trading Cookshop are delighted to announce that on 9th July they will be opening their 38th UK store, in the beautiful Grade II listed building on 2-3 Pydar Street, Truro.

Based in East Sussex, Steamer Trading is a family owned, independent chain of high-end cook shops. They are increasingly looking to the West Country for expansion, due to customer demand and following successful store openings in Taunton and Hereford during late 2015, and Wells in early 2016. Building upon their impressive network of unique stores, covering many of the market towns of the UK, Truro is destined to be one of their largest and most ambitious new store openings in recent years.

Through the opening of this store Steamer Trading will be creating 12 new retail jobs in the town (anyone interested in applying can contact them via email on truro@steamer.co.uk) Their ethos is to forge close links with the local community, to inspire people to cook at home and find pleasure in the latest design-led products.
