Acronyms Announce Rebrand as they Look to Expand in Cornwall.
IT and unified comms provider Acronyms have announced a rebrand, as they aim to expand within Cornwall. The Plymouth-based company has seen their client base in the county grow steadily over recent years and now have plans to open a Cornwall office in the future. They have become regular exhibitors at the Cornwall Business Show and held a seminar on cybersecurity at last year’s event.
Their stand at the 2018 event will be the first time that they attend a trade show following the rebrand. It forms part of their plans to expand into neighbouring markets and comes after an extended period of growth for the business. It follows an increase in staff numbers and large investment into IT support software, which forms the basis of their work.
Dave Smith, co-founder and Managing Director of Acronyms, explained Cornwall’s importance to his business.
“Over the last few years, we’ve steadily increased the number of Cornish businesses we’re working with and there’s now no doubt in my mind, that we will open an office in the county, at some point in the future. People have misconceptions about Cornwall, but you only have to attend events like the Cornwall Business Show to realise Cornwall isn’t just a tourist destination or a retirement home. It’s also a place to do business. We’re eager to build on our existing relationships across Cornwall, to change these misconceptions.”
The rebrand has seen Acronyms launch an improved website which illustrates their key products and services – IT infrastructure, IT support and unified comms.
Marketing Manager, Frazer Lloyd-Davies believes that the rebrand is crucial in introducing Acronyms to new businesses across Cornwall.
“We’re extremely proud of the service we provide but appreciate that we’ve not always been the best at conveying who we are and what we’re about to people who may not have heard of us. This rebrand therefore helps, but it is nothing new. We’ve taken the core Acronyms values, and the ethos that this company was built on – to sell the correct solution – and made it more prominent.
Tom Moore is the Business Development Manager at Acronyms and has exhibited at the Cornwall Business Show before, on several occasions.
“This event is the first trade show of our year and one of growing importance. The organising team do a fantastic job and year after year we continue to see the passion this county has, not only for technology but for business as well. We’ve invested in a larger stand this year and I cannot want to get the year started with another Cornwall Business Show.”
Acronyms will be exhibiting at the Cornwall Business Show from Stand 27 but if you’d like to view their new look before then, you can head over to their website.
