A Falmouth classic boat event with rich history and international flavour returned this June with new competitors from the Continent making the passage to Falmouth to sail and parade their vessels alongside other classic yacht sailors and enthusiasts.
The event has steadily grown in recent years, thanks in no small part to media partner Eight Wire. The design and marketing agency has focused on increasing the event’s media coverage since it took a new format and moved to a new slot in the calendar.
Henry Roberts, chairman of the Falmouth Classics Association, said: “We are delighted with the sponsorship package that we have received from Eight Wire.The event is growing in popularity each year with competitors traveling from far and wide to enjoy three days of classic boat racing and rallying around the Fal Estuary.”
