Camellia Interiors Expand to Truro
The team of designers at Newquay based Camellia Interiors are expanding the business to Truro with the opening of a new design showroom and lifestyle coffee shop, The Eatery.
From the new showroom location, in the heart of the city on Fairmantle Street, the design practice will offer a colour consultancy focussing on walls and windows, and a relaxing, stylish environment for the people of Truro to enjoy quality coffee and healthy foods.
The showroom will stock a range of premium wallpapers, fabrics and paints from Camellia’s extensive design library including iconic brands such as Farrow and Ball, Little Green Paint Company and Zoffany. A team of fully trained colour consultants will be on hand to offer colour and fabric advice, using their extensive product knowledge and design expertise to provide decorative advice for any style of home.
The award winning design team, who regularly redesign and decorate investment properties from their Newquay studio, are looking forward to sharing the same expertise and premium products with smaller project customers that may not be looking for a full design service.
Elaine Skinner, Managing Director at Camellia Interiors said: “Camellia’s Truro showroom is all about walls, windows and colour consultancy – people can drop in, grab a coffee, be inspired by their surroundings and chat with our interior designers about their home.
We’ve seen a rise in homeowners seeking advice on colour palettes due to an increase in specialist paint companies and tastes shifting from magnolia to greys, neutrals and bright colours. Our trained colour consultants have expertise in design for Cornish properties and can eliminate the stress and risk of making regrettable design choices.”
The Fairmantle Street premises will house The Eatery, a lifestyle coffee shop boasting quality coffee and nutritious lunches. The menu will be freshly prepared in-house daily, consisting of fresh juices, smoothies, salads and open sandwiches.
Elaine said: “The Eatery will bring more variety to Truro’s food offering with a real focus on nutrition, fresh ingredients and clean eating. The central location means it will be an ideal spot to grab a quick coffee or juice before work, or have a healthy lunch after a morning spent shopping.”
“The nature of our work means that we often work with out of county clients so we want to our new Truro base to give something back locally. We hope The Eatery will be a space for the whole community to enjoy.”
The expansion comes after successful 12 months for Camellia Interiors, being featured on the Best of Houzz 2016 and shortlisted for the Design & Architecture Awards 2015.
Camellia Interiors Truro showroom will be opened on 16 May at 63 Fairmantle Street, Truro, TR1 2EG.The showroom and Eatery will be open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
