Cornish Horizons supports Beach Guardian
CORNWALL’S leading holiday letting company, Cornish Horizons has recently joined forces with Beach Guardian to run a series of beach cleans throughout the year.
General Manager for Cornish Horizons, Angela Jane said: “We are thrilled to support the Beach Guardian project. We know that our coastline is one of the main reasons that holiday makers are drawn to this beautiful part of the country year after year so feel it is part of our role to help maintain and protect the environment that attracts them.”
Beach Guardian are a Community Interest Company co-founded by father and daughter team, Rob and Emily to raise awareness of unnecessary plastics, organise community beach cleans and deliver educational sessions in schools. The first jointly supported Cornish Horizons beach clean will take place on Tuesday 19th February at Constantine Bay near Padstow for one hour at midday.
Joining forces with Cornish Horizons to support the event are The Padstow Tea Company and another local company, Cornwall Waste Care who specialise in holiday home waste removal. Kay Taylor of The Padstow Tea company said: “We’ll be there supporting this great initiative by providing free, hot tea to all beach cleaners on the day and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone at Constantine Bay on February 19th.”
Cornish Horizons are inviting as many people as possible to join them at the beach clean. To confirm your attendance, a joint Facebook event has been created: https://business.facebook.com/events/2249150268428869/
