Cornwall Business Show 2017: sponsors on board and two thirds of stands sold

Sponsors old and new sign up for next year’s premier business exhibition

Everest Media, We Love Social, the Western Morning News, and Pirate FM have all signed up to support next year’s Cornwall Business Show.

Everest media is to be headline sponsor, We Love Social will take on optimising the show’s social media, while both the Western Morning News and Pirate FM will be media partners.

Show managing director Andrew Weaver said: “It’s great to have this level of support for the show, and for people to sign up so early. It means all parties get the most out of these relationships. I’m also really pleased to see that two of the four have been with us for several years now, meaning these are tried and tested partnerships.”

Everest Media is keen to use its sponsorship to help increase awareness of its services in the region.

Everest Media’s managing director Samuele Armondi explained: “Our business has clients all over the country, and some in different parts of the world. In many respects, it doesn’t matter where we are based as both our products and services can be provided remotely. However, as we go into our fourth year of trading, I am keen for us to work locally, too.

“As well as being at the show as an exhibitor, we will also run a training seminar where people can come along and hopefully gain some free insights which will be useful for their business, as well as gaining an insight into our work and what we are capable of.”

Everest Media operates in two main spheres: the development of software, websites and mobile apps; and also content management services, which range from writing news articles for clients’ websites to managing all of their online content, from strategy to content generation and publication.

Mr Armondi said: “We are really looking forward to being involved with the show. I think it will enable us to achieve a significant profile and help us meet lots of people in a short space of time, something that might otherwise take us months to achieve.”

We Love Social is a Bude-based collective of 20 social media influencers who came together 18 months ago and have since gone on to rapidly build a business.

Founder James Bradley said: “Cornwall Business Show is an exciting partnership that will enable us to showcase what we can do for other businesses in Cornwall. As a relatively new brand it is all very well for us to tell people how good we are, but to be able to demonstrate it in action is the best form of marketing.”

Andrew Weaver, managing director of Cornwall Business Show, said: “I’m delighted that Everest Media and We Love Social have come on board. They’re both exciting, young companies with positive stories to tell and ones I am sure plenty of other local businesses will want to know and engage with.”

Bill Martin, editor of the Western Morning News, said: “We’re glad to be back for the third consecutive year. Cornwall Business Show is a great opportunity for us to get out of the office and have conversations with businesses from all sectors. As well as helping us to meet companies who might have stories for us or be potential advertisers, we’re also pleased to be associated with the show as it is professionally run and well supported.”

Two thirds of the stands have already sold for Cornwall Business Show 2017, which will take place on Thursday, March 16, at the Royal Cornwall Showground.

The event is sponsored by Everest Media (www.everest-media.co.uk), social media partner is We Love Social (www.welovesocial.media) and supported by the Western Morning News and Pirate FM.
