Cornwall Business Show to be bigger and better for 2015

New venue and date announced by organisers of ‘Cornwall’s largest’ business show

After two successful years the organisers of Cornwall Business Show have decided to raise the stakes and turn it into the county’s single biggest and most inclusive business-to-business exhibition.

Having been at capacity for two years in Kingsley Village, the show is moving to the Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge, which will enable it increase the number of exhibitors from 56 to over 80.

And after listening to feedback from exhibitors in previous years, the date of the show is being moved to March and it will be held on one day only.

“The aim is to get a big crowd in on the one day, maximising the number of potential customers for exhibitors while keeping their time commitment down to a minimum,” said organiser Andrew Weaver, of Live Events South West (LESW).

“In addition we will have a greater number of exhibitors and new features, which will make it even more attractive to visitors – and we have been able to reduce the price of stands. Add to that the unlimited free parking on the new site, and we think the 2015 show will offer plenty value for less  – news that most business managers and owners will be delighted to hear.”

The show is introducing speed-networking events throughout the day, to help busy people cut the small-talk and make new contacts. For the first time visitors will also be able to use the show’s Meet the Expert facility to book appointments in advance. This will enable visitors to plan their day before they arrive and make sure they get to speak to those people they really need to. Semi-private booths will be available for these meetings.

The day will begin with a breakfast event, during which there will be a speaker and an opportunity to network. This will be open to both exhibitors and visitors and will kick-start the event.

Also new for 2015 is the Feel Good zone, which concentrates on health in the workplace. There will also be an office furniture showroom.

“We want this show to be a really inclusive event, as attractive to sole traders as it is to big companies because of the range of exhibitors we will have there,” said Andrew.

“You might expect big firms to be present, with a shopping list of what they hope to achieve and the sorts of people they would like to meet during the show. But it’s as relevant to the sole-trading plumber, for example – they need a website, they need an accountant and they need technology solutions.”

Stands are now on sale for the show. There will be a maximum of five exhibitors per sector, in order to make sure a wide range of different industries and services are represented.

Prices for a stand start at £395 (£295 in the Feel Good zone), which includes all the basics you need. It also includes entry for two people in the Exhibition Ready best-practice workshop, which gives sensible and practical advice to help exhibitors make the most of the show and make sure they are deriving maximum value from their investment.

Cornwall Business Show 2015 will take place on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at the Royal Cornwall Showground.
