Cornwall Training Supporting our Armed Forces

Cornwall Training has signed an agreement with the armed forces covenant, which is a declaration to support any serving, or service leaver with discounted training and support to help them with the transition into civilian life.

We have also become an approved centre to the military for ELCAS learning credits. So we can offer training to the service personal who are leaving. Our courses include Education and Training, First Response Emergency Care (FREC) levels 3 and 4 along with  a level 3 Administration of lifesaving medication. These will enable service leavers to have the qualifications required to start work in the civilian medical environment.  More information can be found at https://cornwalltraining.com/elcas

We have just been awarded a new qualification and are the leading provider in the South West for a new qualification to teach emergency care for Motorcyclists. The First Bike on Scene course is centred around what to do at the scene of a motorcycle accident. What to do and what not to do with injuries.  The one day course is a must for riders to enable them to deal with injuries at the roadside. The course will be rolled out to clubs and groups along with shops involved with the motorcycle industry. More information can be found at https://cornwalltraining.com/firstbikeonscene

Last but not least, Cornwall Training are supporting the local unemployed and employed people on low hours who are looking to upskill and gain higher wages and hours with promotion. Our Family and Communities project supported by CSW group and ESF. It will enable the clients to access funding for training and support to help them progress.
