Expert Tax Director Joins Cornish Accountants
Robinson Reed Layton, Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisers, are pleased to welcome Steve Maggs to the team as Tax Director.
Steve is a Chartered Tax Adviser with over a decade of experience in the tax profession and has spent the majority of his career with Deloitte – one of the ‘Big Four’ largest accountancy firms in the world, before heading up the tax department of a member firm of the Moore Stephens network – the UK’s 10th largest independent accounting and consulting network.
As part of his role as Tax Director, Steve will manage Robinson Reed Layton’s tax team as well as providing private client and corporation tax support to individuals and private companies.

Steve has worked with a wide range of clients throughout his career – including high net worth individuals, landed estates, trusts, partnerships, entrepreneurs, family businesses, and private companies.
Steve’s particular areas of expertise include: succession (both personal and corporate) and estate planning; capital tax planning; tax aspects of equity incentivisation; transactional tax advisory support; real estate; and providing tax dispute resolution services.
