Find out how to calculate your Inheritance Tax Liability
You can learn how to calculate the Inheritance Tax liability (IHT) on your estate and discover legitimate investment planning options, for free , at one of two seminars presented by St Wenn based Demelza Independent Estate Planning at Hall For Cornwall on Thursday 21 April 2016 or Wednesday 18 May 2016.
The half day seminars are presented by Denis Mitchell, one of only two advisers within Cornwall to be a Chartered Wealth Manager, a Chartered Financial Planner and a Certified Financial Planner – the pinnacle qualifications of the Financial Planning Profession. Denis will help you work out your own personal IHT liability in a workbook for you to take away –he will also help you identify ways in which you can legitimately reduce that liability through different investment planning options.
Denis Mitchell explains; “Everyone in the 2016-2017 tax year has a base-line tax-free inheritance allowance of £325,000. Despite the rise in property prices, this allowance has remained the same since 2010-11 – so in effect your estate is probably increasing its liability year-on-year. My seminar will help people work out the value of their estate that will be subject to Inheritance Tax. I will also explain a number of ways you can legally reduce that burden and leave more to your loved ones.”
Demelza Independent Estate Planning is the official sponsor of Hall For Cornwall’s classical concert series 2015/16 and is delighted to be presenting the half-day seminars at the Theatre’s premises in Truro.
