First stands already sold as Cornwall Business Show 2016 date announced

More than 100 businesses and 1,000 visitors will gather on St Patrick’s Day for what is likely to be the biggest Cornish B2B event of the year

THE organisers of Cornwall Business Show have confirmed that next year’s event will take place on Thursday, March 17, at the Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge.

Now in its fourth year, stands for the show have already gone on sale and the team is busy taking bookings. The number of exhibitors has been set at 109 for the 2016 event.

Last year there were 1,000 visitors to the show. More than 60% of those were company decision-makers – owners, directors, chief executives and sole traders. Most of them were from Cornwall, although a healthy 11% came to the event from outside the county.

The 2016 show will start at 9.30am and run until 4pm. Exhibitors and visitors will then have the opportunity to wind down with a networking event until 5.30pm, incorporating a guest speaker and refreshments.

Back by popular demand are features from previous years including speed-networking, seminars, the Connection Wall, and the Meet the Expert facility – to enable visitors to book one-to-one appointments with exhibitors.

The successful Feel Good Zone will be repeated, featuring exhibitors with a focus on wellbeing in the workplace for employers and employees alike.

This year the layout of the venue will be changed slightly. The second exhibition hall will be given over to the artisan café, with various catering concessions offering high quality, local food and drink. Also in this hall will be the larger showroom-style exhibitors, including motor dealers and office furniture specialists.

The price of a stand starts at £450 + VAT for the main arena and £195+ VAT for those exhibiting in the Feel Good Zone. This includes a place on the half-day Exhibition Ready workshop, held a few weeks in advance.

The show’s managing director, Andrew Weaver, said: “We pride ourselves on providing everything that people need for an all-in-one price. There are a few optional extras that people can consider, but for the basic price of the stand it is perfectly possible for people to show up and exhibit. All they need to bring along for a successful day is their branding and any promotional materials – and of course some good staff.”

Those who book their stands by November 27, 2015, will qualify for a free webpage profile on the new Cornwall Business Directory, valued at £195 + VAT.

The Western Morning News and Pirate FM have already confirmed their support as media partners for the Cornwall Business Show 2016.
