Harbour Holidays Launches Easter Short Break Holidays in Padstow

Cornish holiday company Harbour Holidays has this week announced the release of short break dates at a selection of its self-catering properties in Padstow during the Easter school holidays

The new dates, released on the website this week, allow holidaymakers to secure self-catering accommodation in idyllic locations for shorter periods than the standard seven-day lets.

 Harbour Holidays made the move after it noticed a demand for breaks of three or four days rather than full weeks over the Easter period. The company has responded by offering short breaks at a number of its properties in the Padstow area during the Easter school holidays

Although its properties are all fully booked for the Easter weekend itself, there is still some availability for self catering holiday lets in the weeks before and after Easter.

 Nicky Stanley from Harbour Holidays said: “Usually we can only accept rentals for full weeks at this time of year. But with the way Easter falls this year, we have been able to open up short breaks to provide more flexibility in dates for prospective customers.

 “We think the demand for short breaks has something to do with the fact that schools over the country have introduced staggered holidays this year, meaning there is now a three week period during which people want to visit Cornwall for an Easter break.”

 Harbour Holidays is a Padstow holiday accommodation specialist, only managing properties within a short radius of the town and its surrounding villages.

 With the Easter weekend almost fully booked, the Padstow holiday company is steering people towards dates either side of the long weekend but which still fall within the school holidays.

 Harbour Holidays recently published a blog post on things to see and do during the Easter period in Padstow and elsewhere in Cornwall. These events include the traditional egg rolling contest, which takes place in the town centre of Padstow on Easter Sunday.

 Nicky Stanley commented: “This early spring season is great time to visit Cornwall. There’s always plenty going on, the weather is getting warmer and holidaymakers can usually get prime holiday properties at prices much lower than other peak times of year.

 “We look forward to welcoming people to Padstow this Easter.”
