Hawkins Look Ahead in St Austell

Hawkins Motor Group are currently developing its Woodland Road dealership in St Austell that opened back in 2001 originally as a used car centre.

The Cornish family company are pleased to announce the recruitment of Robert Perry as the Dealer Principal for Hawkins Hyundai St Austell. With over twenty years motor industry experience with two other family owned dealer groups in Cornwall, Rob brings a wealth of experience in sales and in providing outstanding customer care.

Johnny Hawkins said “We are delighted to have Rob on board heading the Hyundai St Austell team as this is an exciting time for both the dealership and the Hyundai brand.  Currently we are upgrading the dealerships facilities including the showroom with a number of new cars on display as additional models join the range and our aftersales servicing and workshop facilities.  We are also increasing the number of used cars from other manufacturers so that we can offer a broad range of popular models, giving more choice for those looking for a car locally.”

The Ioniq is a mid size 5 door hatchback starting at £19,995 for the Petrol/Electric Hybrid and it will be followed next year by a full Electric Plug In version.  As the interest and demand grows for alternative fuel vehicles we are in a very strong position to offer those customers something really outstanding and invite them to come in and experience the Ioniq for themselves.”
