ITEC Announces Official Partnership with Rugby team – Cornish Pirates
We are very thrilled to announce ITEC is now the Official Technology Partner to Cornish Pirates Rugby Football Club.
The Pirates are the only professional sports team in Cornwall and are in the Rugby Championship (the second tier of English professional rugby). They have a large following and are supported with great passion in Cornwall and beyond. We know the Pirates have big ambitions and we aim to help them Play Smarter by providing technology that enables Smarter Working.
In the words of CEO Nick Orme: “ITEC is the leading IT and office technology provider across the South West, and Cornwall is a super-important market for us. That’s why our team in Redruth and the whole company are thrilled to be associated with the Pirates and to be their official technology supplier.”
We’re already looking forward to the Pirates’ first home game of the season, which is against Bristol!
Excitingly, the Pirates are the lead on the new S4C which is a landmark development in Cornwall. S4C stands for Stadium for Cornwall and this is designed as a multi-purpose sports, leisure, education and business facility. It is to be built in the next two years at Threemilestone, Truro, Cornwall.
ITEC’s initial sponsorship deal is for 2 years and takes us right up to when the new stadium opens. It’s part of our commitment to the South West communities that our business serves – for example, we are already engaged with Bristol Sport and Somerset County Cricket Club.
