Launch of New Hamper Business Showcasing Cornish Products

That’s exactly what acted as the inspiration for the team behind an exciting new Cornish business. The Cornish Hamper Store not only aims to delight recipients of their hampers with evocative branding and beautiful packaging, but also to showcase some of the most scrumptious products Cornwall has to offer.

Owned by The Dash Group, the business is located in Redruth, in the very heart of Cornwall. The Dash Group has been serving the Cornish community since 1925, with roots in the distribution of morning newspapers to stores across the Duchy. Since those humble beginnings, the Group has become experts in logistics and e-commerce which will undoubtedly serve them well with this new venture.

After months of planning, product tastings, supplier negotiations, branding decisions and website building, The Cornish Hamper Store was finally open for business in October. Despite being a competitive market, this didn’t discourage the team at all. “We had a clear idea of making it possible for anyone to enjoy a piece of Cornwall, wherever they may be”, explains Angie Tiller, Marketing Manager.

The product offering ranges from classic food and drink hampers to traditional cream teas and gift sets of popular Cornish products.  Corporate customers are catered for with a suggested range of suitable hampers ideal as gifts for stakeholders, or welcome gifts for customers of businesses in the hospitality industry.
