How National Careers Service can Support your Apprenticeship process

If you have been considering hiring apprentices into your company you will probably have lots of questions that first need to be answered.

What are your responsibilities? What should you pay an apprentice? How do you find a training provider? What’s the best way to advertise the post? All of these questions may have been holding you back, but look no further, the National Careers Service can help. We are a free of charge service who can work with you throughout the entire process of finding an apprentice. Using our network of contacts, we can help you to partner up with an appropriate training provider, give you more information about the new apprenticeship levy and your companies role in having an apprentice. We will also be able to help you with the recruitment process, ensuring that the applicants you see are interview ready.

Apprentices don’t have to be new recruits. Apprenticeships are a great way of upskilling your current staff, helping them to change job role or rise to higher positions within your company. Upskilling staff not only ensures that your workforce is trained to a high standard it also builds employee loyalty. For more information, please contact Jo Skeel (joanne.skeel@prospects.co.uk).
