New recruits at GoJute
GoJute are expanding their team, with Richard Hibbs being appointed as General Manager.
Based from their Head Office in St Austell, GoJute have now grown to the point of supplying celebrities like Rick Stein to US retail giant Tommy Hillfiger! With the growth of the business so far; offices in the USA, India and the Netherlands, GoJute needed some extra assistance in order to achieve their ambitious business development goals for 2015.
Richard was third generation former Director of family-run printing specialists Francis Antony. Originally founded by Richard’s grandfather Leonard Hibbs in 1946, Richard has seen the print industry go through considerable transformation and has gained an enormous amount of business experience during his 10 years as Director.
GoJute’s Managing Director, Gary Warren said: “Richard was a natural choice for this position. He knows our business inside out and his knowledge of the market is impressive. We know we have an excellent customer base, but Richard’s business insight means we can now be much more customer focused. Our main objective this year is to continue growing our business with their needs at the forefront of our supplying decisions.”
As part of Richard’s business development role, he has identified the need for an additional recruit to join GoJute’s sales team. With the introduction of the English Single Use Carrier Bag charge (October 2015), the demand for sustainable, reusable and environmentally friendly ‘Bags for Life’ has increased dramatically. Richard Hibbs said “We have already seen a huge rise in bag orders since the bag tax was implemented within Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland, by recruiting an additional member of staff to our sales team means that we are fully prepared to further cope with demands and future growth of the business.”
GoJute will be advertising the additional role in due course.
