Official launch of a Cornwall-based specialist marine marketing agency
A Cornwall-based design and marketing agency is re-branding; targeting leisure and commercial marine clients across the UK and Europe. Fastnet Marketing – the new trading name of Black Geko Media – will officially launch on Tuesday 1st September 2015.
Fastnet Marketing will focus on helping businesses within the marine sector to fulfill their full potential by offering an all-inclusive marketing service. Their aim is to help companies develop a clear marketing strategy and provide the tools to put this in place, such as responsive, modern websites, and eye-catching printed marketing materials.
As Black Geko Media, the company was the official marketing agency for the 2015 Red Ensign Azores and Back Yacht Race (AZAB). This successful marketing campaign included creating a website, printed materials such as the race brochure, signage and flags, as well as social media. In addition, they raised over £13,000 in race sponsorship.
Sarah-Jayne Leverton, Managing Director of Fastnet Marketing, says:
“Black Geko Media has been trading since 2010 and has generated an impressive portfolio of clients from all business sectors. However, when it came to actively marketing ourselves, it made sense to target a sector of which, as a team, we have specialist knowledge; and so Fastnet Marketing was developed.
“The name Fastnet we feel reflects the three areas of our business that we want to focus on. Fastnet the shipping region is well known to commercial marine businesses, and our leisure marine clients will be familiar with the famous Fastnet Yacht Race. But, of course, we are dedicated to offering fast, efficient and effective digital and traditional marketing solutions to all our clients.”
Fastnet Marketing is a unique design and marketing agency for the marine sector offering clients the best quality of customer service. The agency provides a full range of services from website design and branding, to SEO and public relations.
Both Directors of Fastnet Marketing have a personal and professional background in the leisure and commercial marine sectors giving them an exclusive insight into this specialist area.
