Pebble House Takes Gold in Cornwall Tourism Awards 2015
Local business Nicholson’s South West sponsored the ‘B&B, Guest Accommodation and Inn of the Year’ category at this year’s prestigious Cornwall Tourism Awards. The awards ceremony was held on the 12th November and proved to be a night full of surprises!
Two guest speakers attended the event; first up was highly renowned Rosamund Barteau, daughter of Poldark author Winston Graham. The audience was then taken by surprise when well-known funny man Rory McGrath made an entertaining entrance as the second guest speaker!
The winner of ‘B&B, Guest Accommodation and Inn of the Year’ went to Pebble House in Mevagissey, followed by The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow taking silver, and Roundhouse Barn Holidays and Trevose Harbour House awarded bronze.

This year saw a massive 71 awards presented on the night making it the largest ceremony to date. The awards were all crafted by local Cornish business Jo Downs handmade glass and will be a very prestigious addition to any businesses’ shelf.
