Record Year for Cornwall’s Home and Garden Expo

The Cornwall Home and Lifestyle Show 2016 has undoubtedly been the most successful event in its six year history. The event supported by our media partners Pirate FM and Cornwall Living was held on the 30th April – 1st May and didn’t fail to impress.

It has become one of the most popular and sought after event across Cornwall. The event is recognised for its exceptional interior goods, gardens, renewable services and self-build assistance, drawing crowds from across the county and beyond to discover what Cornwall has to offer. This year we saw 4000 attendees visit the Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge to meet almost 150 regional exhibitors offering home related products and services, which included sponsors Nine Design, Duke Stone of Cornwall and Elite Spas and Leisure.

Nine Design MD Adam Hodgson said “We had a fantastic time exhibiting at the Cornwall Home and Lifestyle Show, we are proud to sponsor such an event, we met some great potential clients and it was great meet other fantastic products and services the Cornwall home industry has to offer”.

Throughout the weekend there were professional seminars hosted by exhibitors which enabled the public to get a better understanding of some of the newest methods and products available at the show. The visitors were also able to make pre booked 25 minute appointments to ‘Meet the Expert’ which proved very useful for those wanting to meet a specific exhibitor and a dedicated time during their visit.

Once again the ever popular ‘A Bite of Cornwall’ Food and Drink market and café was well received by visitors who love the delicious artisan produce from around the county, taking some home with them and enjoying freshly cooked foods on site along with local beverages from the licensed bar. This year also saw the Homeware & Interiors Market grow with more wonderful regional designers and makers selling cushions, ceramics, art, kitchenware, furniture, glassware to name a few. Due to popular section will grow further in 2017.

Katherine who visited from Bradworthy, Devon commented; “Thanks for a brilliant event – it’s the first time we have heard about it and attended. We met some brilliant people and saw some fantastic products which we will be using going forward with our building projects”.

There are plenty more events coming up to enjoy, including the Home & Lifestyle Show Interiors Market on 9th and 10th September on Lemon Quay, Truro and the increasingly popular Cornwall Home Improvement & Self Build Show on 1st and 2nd of October at the showground in Wadebridge.
