Wild West Communications shortlisted for six PRCA Dare Awards

Wild West Communications, a South West public relations consultancy with offices in Truro and Bristol, has been shortlisted for six PRCA Dare Awards. The prestigious industry awards, for the South West and Wales, strive to seek out and reward the very best PR and communications professionals and campaigns, across the UK.

Shortlistings for Wild West include campaigns for leading national food brands Kelly’s of Cornwall and Clarks Natural Sweeteners, as a well as a Corporate Affairs campaign, supporting the reinstatement of a passenger helicopter service to the Isles of Scilly.

Wild West itself has also been nominated for the Small Consultancy of the Year category whilst employees Megan Hocking, a 25-year-old Account Manager, and Sam Shrimpton, a 24-year-old Senior Campaign Executive, have both been nominated in the Rising Star of the Year category. Results will be announced on 15th June.

Director, Georgie Upton says: “It’s been a cracking 18 months since we officially became Wild West, an independent South West PR and social media consultancy, while maintaining our strong links to London via our sister agency Wild Card. We tasked ourselves to see how many awards we could win this year – so this sets us up for a good start! We obviously couldn’t do it without great clients and a great team. I’m particularly proud of our two rising stars. Well deserved.”

Wild West Communications has a sister agency in London and became a stand alone business in early 2016, expanding into Bristol at the end of the year.
