Cornish Horizons supports Cornwall Wildlife Trust

Cornwall’s leading holiday letting company, Cornish Horizons has recently become a Wildlife Guardian as part of the scheme set up by the Cornwall Wildlife Trust.

Gemma Brown, Manager of Cornish Horizons, which has nearly 500 cottages throughout Cornwall and four offices in Padstow, Fowey, Looe and St Ives says “We are thrilled to join the Cornwall Wildlife Trust as their first holiday cottage agency to be listed as a Wildlife Guardian. Here at Cornish Horizons we understand the importance of protecting our wildlife for the future. We know that our coastline and countryside are one of the main reasons that holiday makers are drawn to this beautiful part of the country year after year so feel it is part of our role to help maintain and protect the wildlife that attract them”.

The Cornwall Wildlife Trust are the number one wildlife charity in Cornwall who have been helping people to enjoy nature for over 50 years. Antonia Mullaly, Business Support Manager at the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, states “Cornish Horizons have demonstrated their commitment to Cornwall’s wildlife and wild places by joining our Business Supporter Scheme as Wildlife Guardians. We are thrilled to welcome a business that clearly cares for its natural environment, and wants to encourage their visitors to enjoy its natural resources. The Trust benefits from its Business Supporter Scheme which raises much needed funds to help protect Cornwall’s wildlife both on land and in our seas through many projects. The Trust also cares for 57 nature reserves all over the county; protecting, improving and creating habitats for wildlife, which contributes greatly to Cornwall’s character”.
