Wild Card wins two new countryside and holiday destination hotels
Wild Card’s travel division has grown again with the appointment of two new luxury hotels across its London and Truro offices. The first property is Rampsbeck in Ullswater. This 19-bedroom, four red-star property is set in 18 acres of Lake District National Park, with a quarter-mile of lake frontage, coupled with a reputation for exceptional service and fabulous food.
Rampsbeck is the first to launch in the newly formed Another Place collection of hotels. Will Ashworth, founder of Another Place and Managing Director of Watergate Bay Hotel explains, “Every property in the Another Place collection will be characterised by a fantastic location and our own unique mix of active, social and relaxing hospitality.”
Wild Card team in Truro will work alongside the team at Rampsbeck, carefully handling communications as the hotel becomes more formerly recognised as an Another Place hotel.
The second Wild Card win is Ellenborough Park – a five-star luxury Cotswold hotel and ancient house, managed by Michels & Taylor, on the original Cheltenham racecourse estate, with its own drive to the famous sporting venue.
Wild Card’s campaign will see the agency focus on the hotel’s distinguished Cotswold hospitality, increasing awareness of the indulgent country retreat as a destination for weddings, conferences, mid week leisure and celebrations, with a luxuryfood and beverage offering.
Ruth Owen-Overton, Sales and Marketing Director of Ellenborough Park says: “We are delighted to be working with Wild Card, who share the hotel’s vision to the continuing development of Ellenborough Park’s reputation nationally and regionally.”
Wild Card’s Divisional Director, Tessa Willmott, comments: “We are very pleased to represent two distinguished countryside hotels, in world-class holiday destinations. Additionally it is testament to the team and its success in representing Watergate Bay that has created the opportunity in a new part of the UK at Ramspbeck.”
Wild Card’s other clients include The Nare Hotel, Tresco Island, Laurent-Perrier Champagne, Joseph Joseph, Linda McCartney Foods and Donald Russell.
